安裝閉路電視監視的其中一種方式，有人覺得這會讓社會更加安全，也有人覺得侵犯了個人隱私權和行動自由。除了政府機關的定點的閉路電視之外，很多商舖除了在舖內，基於保安理由，也會安裝多於一部的閉路電視去保障自己。近年很多人會安裝汽車前後錄影安全系統，還有可即時公開廣播的手機，某程度上都成為監視的其中一種方式。

 

這些監視方式不只可作錄影，不只事後在互聯網發佈，現實是可以即時在任何地方作24小時無間斷公開廣播。如果可以收集世界上所有的閉路電視片段，應該可以剪輯任何人的一生到過什麼地方或是做過的事情。或者客觀地重組事件，令謊言編織故事，用影像證據去打破。

 

監控，不是一部單純的閉路電視，背後的意義及用途更值得關注。不只人們的行動紀錄科技更可以把數據收集和利用生物資訊；追蹤技術，令我們而走進監控的牢籠中。

 

我們都害怕監控，而同時間我們也在監控別人。

These surveillance methods can not only be recorded, but also published on the Internet afterwards. In reality, they can be broadcast live 24 hours a day anywhere. If we can collect all the CCTV footage in the world, we should be able to edit a person's life, where he has been or what he has done. Or objectively reconstruct the incident, so that the lies can be woven into stories and broken by video evidence.

 

Surveillance is not just a single CCTV camera. The meaning and purpose behind it are more worthy of attention. Not only can people's movement records be collected and used for biometric information; tracking technology, which makes us walk into the cage of surveillance.

 

We are all afraid of surveillance, and at the same time we are also monitoring others.
